Tiffany Thomas-Smith won her race for judge, becoming the first Black woman to serve on the Bucks County, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas.

In Virginia, Abigail Spanberger won the Virginia Governor's race, becoming the first woman in history to serve in this role.

Alvarys Santana became the first Afro-Latina elected to the Concord, North Carolina City Council.

Shelpa Prem is the first South Asian woman elected to Kirkland, Washington City Council.

Kimberly Owens won her Charlotte City Council seat in North Carolina. She is the first Democrat in history to hold that seat, and defeated a Trump-backed opponent.

Kylie Morris is a doctor and first time candidate. She is now the first Black person elected Township Supervisor in Millcreek, Pennsylvania, a purple area outside of Erie.

Karimah Mickens was reelected Hamden, Connecticut Town Clerk. She is the first Black woman elected to the position.

Erika Evans, the former Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney who resigned in protest of Pam Bondi and the unethical DOJ of the Trump administration, won her race for Seattle City Attorney, defeating a MAGA Republican incumbent to become the first Black woman to hold the position.

In Pennsylvania, Erica Deuso was elected as the Mayor of Downingtown and will be the first out trans mayor in the state.

And Naren Briar, won her race for Bellevue City Council, becoming the first Kurdish American woman in the country elected to office, knocking out a 32 year incumbent who has been in elected office longer than Naren has been alive.

In Washington state, Griselda Arias made history by becoming the first Latina elected to the Yelm City Council.
