What an incredible afternoon at the Norwich Aphasia Choir concert. The joy in this picture says it all! More than just music- it was a reminder of the power of community and communication. Now I’m excited to head to Dundee to share about the choir’s songwriting at @basaphasia.bsky.social Conference!

Yesterday our aphasia choir wrote their own song. All words carefully chosen collaboratively by choir members, with a contribution from each individual included. We used art and total communication to generate ideas and support those with severe aphasia. And it was indeed a beautiful day! 🎵
