Of course, and that is just common knowledge that brands/companies/sites need to understand. The content you produce is your responsibility at the end of the day, just like we are responsible for our own content we put on social media. #UWJ201 #301

I believe the most important characteristics is just to be relatable to all audiences and connect your brand to multiple demographics. As someone that is surrounded by the black community and other minorities, all we want is to feel seen and heard. #UW201 #301

I believe that it is both needing to experience certain events as well as wanting that feeling of curiosity and suspicion. Sometimes facts aren't enough for people and part of all of us is curious which makes us use these "conspiracies" as methods to expand our curiosity. #UWJ201 #301

I personally think if someone is wrong and is strong about their opinion, there isn't much we can do. Some people are just too stubborn and if fact checking doesn't work, we just have to accept that and maybe their opinion will become wrong in front of their eyes. #UW201 #301

I think it can go both ways. There is so much a journalist can do, but if we as viewers don't set aside our own bias and judgment then it doesn't matter what the journalist puts down. So yes some journalist should try to create less bias content as long as viewers can stay neutral too. #UWJ201 #301

I think a keen factor in detecting bias is setting aside emotions and our own personal bias. Staying neutral and being more self aware rather than being emotional or stuck up can allow us to detect bias on a more balanced scale. #UWJ201 #301

I think happiness is altered by how we show it online. We only show us being happy or our achievements so it depicts an unfair standard of happiness to everyone that views such things. #UWJ201 #301

I think it depends on what news source the journalist comes from. If it is a big and common name around news media, then I believe they should be as neutral as possible depending on the topic. You will always run into unavoidable bias, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try. #UWJ201 #301

I believe so. There could be many reasons or theories why Americans have limited political knowledge, but I think our heavy reliance on social media is a big cause. Short form content consumes us and some Americans are just too lazy to read an article or turn on TV news. #UWJ201 #301

To be honest, I don't believe short form content can be "just as effective". It can be effective in some cases that aren't high demand/popular news, but in order to have thorough news stories you will need more context and content. Short form is used to grab attention rather than be reliable #UWJ201

In my eyes, it's a toss up. If every generation/demographic were to be heavy T.V users, viewers would either gain more knowledge on politics rather than opinionated comments on social media or maybe start developing all the same opinions because they don't have another source for news. #UWJ201 #301

I think I'm impacted by all forms of social media, but not impacted in a negative way in a sense of Mean World Syndrome. Sometimes it may affect my views on my own personal situations, but I am aware of the media I take in and don't let it affect my views on the world in general. #UWJ201 #301

I totally agree that flexibility is key. While traditional articles offer detailed context, social media often demands brevity. But that doesn’t mean we should sacrifice accuracy for speed. The ability to condense information while staying true to the original message is important. #UWJ201 #301

Framing definitely plays a huge role in shaping public opinion, especially on controversial topics, this can influence how people interpret. By highlighting certain aspects of an issue and downplaying others. What’s framed as a crisis or a necessity can change how people feel about it. #UWJ201 #301

I believe surveillance is the most vital function of journalism. It’s essentially about informing the public by providing updates on important events and issues that affect society. Without this, people wouldn’t be able to stay informed or make educated decisions. #UWJ201 #301

I think pack journalism is used because it creates a sense of credibility and authority when multiple outlets cover the same story. When a major news outlet leads with a certain angle, others often follow to stay relevant. This strategy can amplify the impact of the story. #UWJ201 #301
