No worries, it's just that I was 18/19 in 98', in college, and remember watching impeachment coverage

See, whereas I got a fibro dx first (in my early 40s), and have had to be like yes I'm sure that dx is correct, but it doesn't explain everything, and I don't think is what began causing me pain at age 10. Going to see a specialist about hEDS/HSD tomorrow, and do a standing test for POTS next week.

98?

I plan to be composted

I'd forgotten about astragalus, used to make tea for myself and kiddo for immune support back in the day long before my symptoms got bad enough for Drs to actually start taking them (and me) seriously.
November 13, 2025 at 8:09 PM
Things are looking up a bit since that Dr appt. Had been so worried about proving my symptoms to her, but she took everything I said seriously, and now I have an appt to talk with a fnp about hEDS/HSD, and another for a standing test for POTS, and more.
I feel lighter. But 2 much hand pain to quilt

I like your fabric choices. I'm thinking a cats on cats lap quilt for my mom may be my next project once I finish my current crumb quilt.

You'd be surprised how much fabric yardage you can buy at Goodwill. It's in the home goods section near curtains and blankets.

No. She did mean GLITTER...

Probably wouldn't have made this appt at all if it weren't for him offering to body double me on our last call. That and the possibility of loosing medicaid in the near future...

Funny how appts w/ my gender Dr don't make me nervous at all tho

Just getting through can be a bigger accomplishment than it feels
November 10, 2025 at 6:48 PM
I made it through a week filled with anxiety over a close friend's ongoing mental health crisis. And made it to the hospital lab to get bloodwork and an ekg done before this afternoon's Dr appt to discuss adding a few dxs to my list.
November 10, 2025 at 6:47 PM
I was surprised how few people were masked when I went in for bloodwork and an ekg the other day. And of the ~20% of staff wearing them, how many were just surgical masks

I mean, definitely ask your Dr about the particulars for your case. But they always want to monitor your hormone levels anyway.
November 8, 2025 at 12:22 AM
I feel like the odds are pretty good. I mean I know my Dr talked about how being on T doesn't eliminate the risk of pregnancy, and especially since I'm not even on a high enough dose to stop my period, so some kind of birth control should still be used.
November 7, 2025 at 10:23 PM
Good question. I've never been able to tolerate hormonal birth control. Which was another reason I was nervous to try altering my hormones w/ T.
November 7, 2025 at 4:21 PM
One can micro dose T. I use low dose T and only apply it 3 x a week instead of daily. My Dr was cool with me experimenting with dosage so long as I let him know if I made any changes.
Fwiw I already had elevated androgens from PCOS

It's so much harder to care for a sick kid if you get sick too. You're doing what you need to.
We managed to avoid getting covid from our teen 2 summers ago by isolating them, running all the air filters, and masking whenever I brought them food or tea. Much harder with a little
