Day one of #BalloonFiesta - high winds aloft meant we didn't launch this morning, but relative calm at ground level let us set up in a static display on the field, which was fantastic for the crowds to see all the balloons up close! I was in the gondola again, this time as ballast. 😅

Yesterday morning was "Balloons Aloft", unofficial day zero of #BalloonFiesta, where hot air balloons inflate and launch from elementary schools all over the ABQ area. It was absolutely gorgeous weather for flying, and I got to go up! (In kigurumi for pajama day!)
