Thinking about my mom today. She died Oct 2, 2010. Her life was a roller coaster. Here she is on an "up". We were in Puerto Rico taping a radio show, "Duffy's Tavern." Yes, this is way back in the day. This pic was taken by the famous Black photographer Gordon Parks for Life magazine. #Life #love

I was lucky enough to be able to talk with him via cell phone. I interviewed him for the book I wrote "The Jeffersons A Fresh Look Back". He was very easy to talk with. :)

One of these books I wrote just may cheer you up - available at book stores everywhere - even in Australia! Your interest will help me in writing my fourth book which will be on the tv sitcom "Good Times." The creating, the actors, the writers, the laugh and the inevitable tears. #booksky #70s

Eye injection done. Now that I can see better posting note that I am hoping to hear from Bill Duke (actor) with a quote for my next book on Good Times. Bill Duke (pic) and Walter Smith, wrote an episode in 1979 "Cousin Raymond", with guest Calvin Lockhart (pic). We'll see. :)

Book excerpt: "I had to know more. Mr. Monte wrote 133 episodes of “Good Times”, including the pilot, along with his friend and fellow actor Michael Evans. Disputes arose between the producers, Mr. Monte, and others and this collaboration came to an unwelcome end, mostly for Mr. Monte. " Stay tuned

Life is in session. Staying positive is not always easy. My city is facing difficulties with the fires. And sad news is floating around. So, here is a pic of my mom, Norma, and my father, Eddie Green, filmmaker, composer, comedian, Old Time Radio star, (1891-1950), and Frank Sinatra, all smiling.

🥰Merry Christmas to me. Today I found a copy of the original 1940s pic that burned up in a fire at my mom's place. This is my father, at the height of his entertainment career, Eddie Green, with my mother, Norma Green, Eddie passed in 1950, mom in 2010. And that guy on the left is Frank Sinatra.

Well it's time to get to work. Christmas is coming. Buy a book! My 4th book will be on the 1970s sitcom Good Times. I am hoping to get a quote or an interview with Ralph Carter, who played Michael. I'm so nervous because I want this book to please the readers and the cast and crew of the show.

I'm tickled pink. I've just received my 3rd royalty check for my first book published in 2016. Of course, I'll never catch up to you! So much fun, though. I never even gave a thought to royalties when I wrote the book. I'm still amazed.

A young lady ordered my book for her twin brother. Here he is holding the book. He said he Loves It!!! I loved getting this picture. Writing has given me so many ways to have a good day. And here is Adrienne Barbeau, Esther Rolle, and Bea Arthur. Adrienne allowed me to quote from one of her books.
