My father, born in Baltimore 1891, #oldtimeradio star "Duffy's Tavern, Amos n Andy, #jackbenney, filmmaker. I wrote his biography & now I am an author w/3 bks & one on the way. Eddie wrote, produced & starred in his movies. Now featured digitally at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in L. A.

Eye injection done. Now that I can see better posting note that I am hoping to hear from Bill Duke (actor) with a quote for my next book on Good Times. Bill Duke (pic) and Walter Smith, wrote an episode in 1979 "Cousin Raymond", with guest Calvin Lockhart (pic). We'll see. :)

Book excerpt: "I had to know more. Mr. Monte wrote 133 episodes of “Good Times”, including the pilot, along with his friend and fellow actor Michael Evans. Disputes arose between the producers, Mr. Monte, and others and this collaboration came to an unwelcome end, mostly for Mr. Monte. " Stay tuned

Black History is neverending, and always relevant, one way or another. My father was Eddie Green, The lady sitting in this picture was 103 yrs old. She starred in this 1939 movie. She left us at 105. I met her!!!

Ernest Whitman, Lena Horne and my father, Eddie Green, must be on a break from their appearance on the Jubilee Radio Program in 1943. Remained friends until Eddie's death in 1950. Love Black History!! #BlackHistoryMonth #Stars #movies

In my research fabout Ralph Carter (Michael) for my "Good Times" book, now a VP with Audelco, I found a 1982 article about their Outstanding Pioneer Award given to those who have contributed to the development of Black Art. Nick Stewart, founder of the Ebony Showcase Theater received an award.

Connections-Color-wise: My father's first movie (1939). My second book (2022). Yes, my father was Eddie Green, owner of The Sepia-Art Pictures Co. Wrote, produced, directed and starred in his own movie. A great inspiration for me. The Jeffersons first episode aired 50 years ago Jan, 1975. #BH2025
