Great to see Grangehill Road being resurfaced today following campaigning by local Conservatives.

We’ve raised with officers about how this impacts residents bin collections on Grangehill and whether green and black bins will be collected later in the week instead.

We’ve just reported this fly-tipping on Glenlea Road.

We’ve previously reported this location as a hotspot for fly-tipping and we’ll be following up with the Council to encourage them to do more to tackle it.

We've had the below about the closure of Southend Crescent to enable Thames Water to carry out repairs.

We haven't been able to get down to see the impact yet but will aim to do so tomorrow and report back to residents.

If you have any questions please let us know!

Earlier this week we posted about potholes on Eltham Park Gardens and RBGs policy towards our roads of ‘managed decline’.

Yesterday when we went to speak to residents, the potholes had been filled in!

The benefit of having local Conservatives fighting your corner in action.

The works started this Monday as planned. The Council have also since confirmed that there was an error communicating the closure and that the junction will be closed for 10 weeks.

Elderslie Road had been due to shut at the junction of Bexley Road on Monday to facilitate gas works.

The works are only due to take 11 days but the parking suspension is for significantly longer. We are following up with council officers to find out what is going on.

The sinkhole has been repaired & Dunvegan Road is finally open again after a couple of months!

Hopeful that the repair this time is more thorough & there aren’t further issues. Longer term, Dunvegan is in a real state & we will get into the Council to prioritise resurfacing it.

It's nearly Christmas and I bet you haven't thought about your bins!

When are the bins going? How do I know when to leave the bins out?

Don't worry we've got you covered, you can see bin collections over the Christmas period below, with more info at

Predictably, work has not been finished on Dunvegan Road by the 20th December as Thames Water had assured the Council.

The permit for work has been extended until the 10th January. We’ll make sure residents are kept up to date if it looks like this is going to be delayed again.
