i've got fishing working. it's a little messy, so i'll be ironing out the issues and polishing for the next few hours, but look! fishing!

you'll be able to double left-click the rod to trigger fishing too.

day 5 of mu, update 2:

i'm still trying to dial in the terrain rendering, some yank is allowed. added in some nice distance fog. lots to polish.

day 5 of working on mu

i've got custom instanced grass working!

took a while to hit a point where it was performant, but while working on my macbook, im still hitting almost 200fps, so i'll consider that a win.
