Beste @demorgen.be , het is NIET dubbel zo warm in Limburg als aan de kust als het in Limburg 38 graden is en aan de kust 19. Is 2 graden Celcius dan ook dubbel zo warm als 1 graad Celcius?

Did my first trial run of a new rule during student defense of a code project.
Point deductions for code that's not fully understood line by line (LLVM's).
It's did not go very well. At all. Maybe education is where the AI revolution is taking place, and it's not pretty.

Ultrarunning is so crazy. 2 people have been running for *5 days* and reached 724 km. 20-ish km and they'll have the backyard world record. Again, they've been running since Saturday.

I can get caught up listening to the same handful of albums. Someone linked me youtu.be/-91vymvIH0c and now I'm just listening to the same concert over and over.

Really curious what could cause this artifact (Excel menu bar). Looks like corruption, but it's reproducible at startup.

Reading my old report cards. Apparently I showed great interest in "the kings and the wars".

Implementing nanite LODing, I really want to use the swedish word lagom (not too little, not too much) for triangles count per pixel. It's a good word.

Had a ton of fun coaching a local game jam, not in the least that a bunch of graphics nerds showed up wanting to use gaussian splatting for an escape the room game. Which they had to train on a laptop. Cooled by 3 monster cans, often replaced with fresh ones from the fridge. Perfect jam mentality.

Making an exercise for my students. They start by coloring a plane in magenta. Funny anecdote in the course about magenta being a debug color. Spend 2 hours wondering why my shader doesn't update with new code. Turns out magenta is used by Unity for an internal error \o/
