Feel like people forget the dread of writing papers in school and how much effort doing just that was. It’s hard work!

Sadly that is part of how we ended up here. In the long term absolutely need a better system but short term people need to be voting for the side that still gives a chance to fight for change that instead of the one who is trying to take that away.

Not talking on speakerphone in public! Idk why it has become such a thing but just use headphones or the phone as normal! There is no need to be on speaker phone in public! It’s just you having the conversation not everyone around you!

Trans kids exist, being trans has nothing to do with porn or sex. Kids need to know about sex before they hit puberty, for many is in elementary school. Talking about sex and consent at an early age helps prevent sexual abuse and teen pregnancies. They need to have information before they NEED it.

Have a few shelves set up, then there are the books still in boxes and multiple random piles on the floor. Basically if there is a surface in my home, books end up on it. So there are attempts to look put together but really it’s just chaos and yeah that describes me fairly well 😆

I hate that shitty people are attached to good stories. I won’t buy anything new or promote them but will grab a used book if I run across it. Also one of my favorite things about these threads is seeing all the alternative recommendations!
