"Eppur si muove" is Italian for "And yet it moves".

It's a phrase made famous by accounts of Galileo Galilei's comments after he was forced by the Inquisition to recant his heretical findings in 1633 that the Earth moved around the Sun & was not the center of all being, perfect & motionless.

Let's say you're reading a peer reviewed paper and trying to digest it, but you discover it has a link to a one-page PDF online that summarizes the paper for the benefit of you and other science communicators.
