The authors admit that this is an "imperfect proxy," but continue to double down & pretend that cultivated meat producers are paying $100/kg for glucose 🫠

Our critique (below) was limited to 1,000 words, but the major point is that #cultivatedmeat is already being produced with predominantly food-grade inputs, so the worst-case scenarios in the study are completely irrelevant and made up.
