Not only am I writing a book, but I’m renovating a house. Yes, I know I’m crazy. No, I’ll never do it again. The day I stop seeing this subfloor will be a joyous day. 😩

I have been frantically writing my derby book (through inkfort press) so apologies for disappearing. I am almost done!!! Cannot wait to announce what’s been going on behind the scenes!

After months of hard work, the process of writing, editing, and releasing a book is coming to a close! The Kepler Star Project book cover is coming out in NINE days, on Friday, May 31st!

Apologies for my absence, but I have been a busy little bee in the past month! Got my book finished, out to a handful of Beta’s, and I’ve started editing the other half of the duology. Still undecided on what I’m going to name this series… but I’ll figure it out. Fun things are in store!

Stayed up way too late editing up to chapter 19 (of 25) because I want to get this out to beta readers so bad.

I have been taking a mental break from editing to gather ✨vibes✨ for my next book. I’m not starting it yet, but the plan is to work on it while my current duology is off with my editor! :)

My sweet husband got me an iPad so that way I can write my book whenever I want without having to lug around my laptop. He is such a gem and I love him dearly!!!

I sent an email off to a favorite editor… just figuring I would shoot my shot. Wasn’t expecting them to come back and call my 10 sample pages “excellent” and be willing to work with me!?
(To be completely fair, it was under the guise of them being first-draft words, but still!!)

January has been so productive for me, and I am so proud of it! I finished the first draft of book one in my duology, and am already 1/3 of the way through the first draft of book two! 🥂✨

Yeserday I wrote quite a few chapters. Every single one of them went a completely unexpected direction and I was but a mere bystander to the chaos that ensued. Today I’ve been trying to reign it back in but the characters have other plans. Send help. 😅

Two completely separate men came up to me today at totally different times to randomly talk about how “horrible” (their word, not mine) everyone is who isn’t a cis white american. Do I have a face that screams, “Be transphobic to me,” or something? 🤬 UGH!
