The light of Sun and Star and Moon, in shining lamps of crystal hewn, undimmed by cloud or shade of Night, there shone for ever fair and bright.
On one hand it's a shame we never got to see the glory days of Durin's Halls, but also I don't know anything would do it justice, really.

The Watcher in the Water is a great set piece, and the Halls of Kazadum are sombre and set my mind alight with what they looked like in their days of glory.

Every other fantasy setting with "deep, in-depth lore" is referring to just, like, lists of wars and Big Dudes and which other Big Dudes they killed, and meanwhile Exalted is like "here's 300 pages of fantasy political economy. enjoy"

Good news: I've got a job! It'll actually pay a bit better than my last job, which is a bonus.
