The fun thing about posing V'rhaka with props is if I can't quite fit something into her hands because it clips with her hat or whatevs, I can just have it float somewhere and go "no you see it's magic. she's making it float to be extra" and it's literally always in character

I think the tragic thing about Rhaka is that her dedication to the betterment of the world is exactly what led her to madness. She had a chance to turn her back on it, to stay with Ratatoskr and cast her title as Warrior of Light aside, but she didn't, out of belief that the world could be united.

Randomly thinking about death note and I overall don't like the story but one thing the original manga nails is light's eventual death - as cowardly and pathetic as the people he killed. More so, for how he styled himself before.
It's a moment the anime completely fumbles and i hate it for that
