Just received this photo from a friend of a warehouse in Kinshasa. These are tuberculosis medications--ALREADY PAID FOR--that aren't being distributed due to the Trump Administration's stop work order.

LA can't catch a break! Ventured out to the park today and on my way there couldn't believe we were getting blanketed by yet another round of wildfire smoke. Really hope this is a wake-up call to SoCal to prepare ourselves against future fires and mitigate climate change as much as possible!

my brave opinion is I prefer e-books 🙈 much more convenient to get library books from Libby than going to the library and 1000x more affordable than buying books. also easier to carry my e-reader than big heavy books. e-books lower the barrier to reading so much, I now read 30+ books a year!

my brave opinion is I prefer e-books 🙈 much more convenient to get library books from Libby than going to the library and 1000x more affordable than buying books. also easier to carry my e-reader than big heavy books. e-books lower the barrier to reading so much, I now read 30+ books a year!

big window views, comfy seats, free 50-lb suitcase and carry-on bag, cheap ticket, arrived to board 10 minutes before instead of 2 hours before, no stressful airport security, no boarding line, no surprise bag fees at the gate, no last minute changes, etc...

officially car-free in los angeles as of today! I've driven her fewer than a dozen times in as many months, so it was time to let my little marshmallow go. plus, driving in LA is a nightmare, and I'm tired of pretending it's not!! I'll always prefer my bike & transit. #carfree #cycling
