OK, it's no longer #Thanksgiving here (past midnight), but, this turkey breast came out very well, very moist. I just need to make gravy yet. Dressing is in the oven with the cranberry-orange bread.

Seemed like the A-string was a little flat. And of course I suck. I hadn't played this bass in like 10 years before tonight. That's the Marshall tube preamp with 3/4 gain fed through the Peavey post via effects send/return.

the two Dell SFF (small form factor) PCs I've dealt with over the past year, similar vintage. It booted, but the background was gone/black (WiFi? didn't check), the clock was arbitrary, and then it eventually crashed with KERNEL_HEAP_CORRUPTION. WTF just from changing a display?

OK, going to watch the first half of the #Celtics game; should be able to finish the job at halftime.
I knew the donor laptop had no SSD but now I know (unadvertised) that it also has no WiFi card. I have an 802.11n one somewhere (original one from 2013) I'll install when I'm selling it, if fits.

1080p donor screen removed from donor laptop (laptop works, I plan to sell it on Craigslist after all this, but with the 720p screen from my existing laptop)

I considered cancelling the order, but, $3...why bother.
There was a surprising dearth of kits under $5, must be tariff-related.
Now this project has been delayed so long, it's static season. Can't believe that thing was totally invisible to me for, hell, 11 months.

Oh and museum station has overhead power, not third rail! That's also cool. I think it's cute that the train logo there has the circle like the Tube/Underground haha.
