The mainstream media inform us, the resistance. They don’t frame it the way we like, but they give us the info to fight back. We wouldn’t know about this disease plot (for example) if not for the NYT. I’m frustrated too but we need to know how/when to fight back.

Friends, this is the reason we can’t just ditch the mainstream media. They frustrate the hell out of us, but they have the resources to break this kind of story. We need them to keep digging. Support this type of reporting!

Folks, I know this won’t be popular, but this is blue sky not the other place right? We can’t drop the mainstream media like a hot potato. They have Access we don’t and many of us reference them in correcting the Trump record. We hate Waopo now, but we need the indepth reporting they & NYT can do.

I am a distant relative of President McKinley and it is totally embarrassing for that name to be back in the news. One thing has changed: as president, McKinley was a tool of the Republicans. Now the Republicans are a tool of the president (elect).
