I’m partial to stewed rhubarb, like grandma made. Eaten as a sauce on the side at family dinners but also great on yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes. Also I just took these out of the oven. Smitten Kitchen had lots of rhubarb recipes, and her recipes are typically great. smittenkitchen.com/2014/05/stra...

Since everyone has been extremely kind about my #iknitarod project, here is a final race update. I only managed to complete one mitt, which is what I’ve expected for several days. Life, you know? But I’ll still forge ahead on mitt two. Thanks for encouraging and admiring. #UglyDogs #KnitSky

#iknitarod has been slow going for me, because work and life and I messed up the beginning of the pattern. But I finally made some forward progress on my fingerless mitten this weekend. My lead dog is unimpressed. #UglyDogs #KnitSky

I’ve barely started the colorwork section of my #iknitarod project and I’ve already fallen off the sled. Pattern and stitch count are off. I tried to fix it last night, but I think pulling back to the top of the cuff is probably faster at this point. #UglyDogs

Thanks! This was from QDitarod 2020. I didn’t finish it during the race because I am slow and also I work in healthcare care and, uh, some others things were happening then. But I made it and have worn it many times since.
