I love to call my Senators' offices three times per week and try to cajole them into doing the most elementary political messaging and strategy. This is what it means to be an engaged citizen: leaving a strenuously polite voicemail for a 74yo on a more regular cadence than I talk to my parents.

Many adults are likely to discover things we should've known for years. My Alabama sex ed nearly led to a life-threatening situation when I was 18.
After years and years of thinking about it, the Crash Course team is finally taking on Sex Ed!!

I repeatedly called without an answer or even reaching voicemail. I sent an email and received a generic reply—"we hear you, we're doing our best"—without addressing anything from my message. It seemed they just copied my name onto a standard response.
Yo @durbin.senate.gov, no one is picking up your Senate phone and you don’t even have a voicemail. Vote no on cloture and the spending bill or I will do whatever it takes to make sure the next Senator from Illinois has basic constituent services set up during business hours.

Eric Adams, everyone!
Then the mayor says the following, re: Khalil: "What I'm finding surprising is the level of support you're all displaying, but I didn't see that support for me"
