It's okay if you don't understand the Cyborg Manifesto right away. You will go over it and you will understand it more! Also, take really good notes on Theory Days, you will use them for your paper at the end! #bsueng490

Alex's dance moves are so silly but it shows how out of place they are in this community...hiding their true identity and being unable to reveal who they really are. #bsueng490

It's interesting seeing Alex/Adrien attempting to save a life instead of taking it from someone. #bsueng490

I'm not sure my feelings on Vincent...he's somehow pretty bad at being a father but also cares a lot? #bsueng490

The anxiety I felt hearing a group of loud men getting onto a bus even though I'm not on the bus...and of course they're loudly being misogynistic too. #bsueng490

The Captain referring to himself as God to his workers, as well as him taking steroids to maintain what little physical strength he has reminds me of the marginalized masculinities discussion we had a few Theory Fridays ago. #bsueng490

Okay is Alexia the serial killer the news keeps talking about???? Maybe that was supposed to be really obvious and I just missed it but I feel like that news broadcast and everything we've seen is pointing to that. #bsueng490

Alexia's shirt that I believe says "Woman Inside" with a picture of a robot...very on the nose but I love that her costuming is so heavily inspired by her fetish for cars. The silver nail polish too was a nice touch. #bsueng490

Alexia being one of the only female presenting people at the car show who isn't one of the dancers/car washers was really interesting and really stood out to me. #bsueng490

"I'm your husband, and I love you, except when you anger me." So, basically, unless you do what I want, I don't actually love you. Alright Jude. #bsueng490

“I didn’t like the idea of you studying, anyway. Is for children. You’re a big woman now.” Um okay...infantilization much? #bsueng490

Yay sci-fi! I think sci-fi might be one of my favorite genres, and I really like the descriptions of the world that Binti takes place in. It's incredibly detailed and I can't wait to get deeper into the story. #bsueng490

My money is on the Rafe is at least the father...their tension felt a little less friendly, especially in their argument in Chapter 7...perhaps a one-night stand? #bsueng490

The paragraph on working class men was interesting. Because of the struggles many working class people face, they are not viewed as proper providers for their families, something Coston and Kimmel mentioned later on as well. They are viewed as expendable beings, not as respected members of society.

Cassie's reaction to seeing Sam for the first time and calling him things like pudgy, geriatric, really shows how far deep she is in now. #bsueng490
