It is flipping crazy that Bethesda still doesn't have a new Fallout game in development on the eve of the 2nd season of their TV show that was a massive hit with a crossover audience.

Its also worth baring in mind that the UK government has stamped down hard on access to consensual pornography this year, yet this is the kind of tech they want to give unrestricted copyright excemption to.

Said it before and I'll say it again, even if you are 100% in favor of gen ai, why on earth did anybody think any of this stuff should have been released for general use?
This is one of the worst, most horrifying exposures we have ever seen. It is hard to overstate how bad the things that people are using tools like for are, and it's insane to pretend like these tools are anything other than nonconsensual porn machines

The "Frieren angle" thing, apart from just being delightful, also completely demolishes the pathetic "AI is democratising art" argument. Someone struggling with a difficult drawing received advice from hundreds of strangers who just wanted to help them improve their art.
