And last but certainly not least at Zhejiang University I also had the true pleasure of meeting Shanshan Pei, first author of two papers advancing our understanding of venetoclax resistance and monocytic leukemic stem cells while in Craig Jordan's Lab.

And last but certainly not least at Zhejiang University I also had the true pleasure of meeting Shanshan Pei, first author of two papers advancing our understanding of venetoclax resistance and monocytic leukemic stem cells while in Craig Jordan's Lab.
When I arrived at Zhejiang University I was greeted by Rongqing Pan, previously of Tony Letai’s lab and first author of the landmark 2014 study showing that BCL-2 inhibition causes cell death in AML, which paved the way for clinical testing and ultimate approval of venetoclax.
