Mr. Impossible by Loretta Chase. I love everything she’s ever done, obviously, but this one - I’d structure the presentation into sections on the FMC, the MMC, the setting, the auxiliary cast, the banter, and one called Yes We All Love 1999’s The Mummy And Yes We’re Bi And No We Won’t Apologise.

I’m at Olí’s parents’ house on Guernsey for Christmas and Olí is making Lobster Thermidor and a side of roast salmon for dinner but we’ve taken the lobster shell and are making stock with it for seafood gumbo that I’m doing tomorrow and the whole house smells like heaven 🥹

Oh my god, you wrote Stack The Cats! This was one of my kids' favourite board books when they were toddlers, to the extent that we still play Stack The Cats now that they're 5 and 8 - I'm the cat at the bottom, and they lay in age order on top of me when we all need a big cuddle. We love your work!

I made this list for my ex - this is something I'm embarrassed about, and struggling not to find it embarrassing that I did this and didn't see it as a problem - of ways to help me feel cared for. Today I attempted to learn how to paint a Eurasian magpie. They are my partner’s favourite bird and I found a watercolour tutorial online and I followed it and ended up with this little friend. Practicing watercolour has been a goal of mine the past few years.

I was 11 years old when my mom and I went to Romania to visit family friends. I was only allowed to bring 3 books and I finished them quickly, at which point I started in on my mother's. She'd brought two Ken Follets as well as Charade by Sandra Brown. I was a romance girlie from then on.

Working on my first ever #6DayStarBlanket and although it’s gonna be more than 6 days to make, I’m really happy with my progress so far! It’s going to be (I think) a present for my partner’s mum for Christmas.

Why yes, I did get to hug Levar Burton and yes, he gives great hugs! If you missed my comprehensive Trivial Pursuit victory, it’s available to stream on the CW’s website for anyone in the US (or who knows how to make websites think they’re in the US…)

Also, as you may know if you follow me elsewhere, I’m still with my partner, and our relationship has been so sustaining through everything. It has helped me flourish and be unashamedly who I am. Highly recommend dating another neurodivergent bi nonmonogamous weirdo if you’re also one!
