Um, we should not be entertaining a bailout of AI, AT ALL, @aoc.bsky.social. No more of this corporate welfare, period.

Let the capitalists fall where they may, and there shall they be buried. We will learn lessons and STOP INCENTIVIZING BUBBLE ECONOMIES.

She wasn’t too weak, she *chose* not to give it a real go.

If Jeffries is stupid enough to greenlight it and make the same mistake, well he’s an even bigger loser than he appears.

That’s what I mean by this. The big boss—wrongfully dressing down a woman in front of everyone, so shockingly that she cannot even muster a reply—and nobody stands up for her.

It burns a hole through your soul that you never forget, that wakes you up at night decades later.
I think about the deafening shame that filled every molecule of her being in that moment and the isolation that not a soul stood up for her…until after he’d gone.

That shame *she* felt belonged to him and everybody else who heard it and said nothing.

That’s what it is to be a woman.

“You have to do the work of discovering what voters want…and I think they want moral leadership”?

I’m not sure there is any “work” reflected in your conclusion, given the complete lack of moral leadership in those whom voters have sent not just to DC but also many state posts.

Nothing against you—your analysis, as always, is great—but I’ve just hit that wall where I’m like, why don’t we just scream “These people are doing these things in bad faith in the pursuit of raw power and we don’t have to respond!!!”

This makes perfect sense if the goal is to flatten FEMA since Kidd began to dismantle Texas’ world class emergency management systems the moment he stepped through the door.

Looks like mission accomplished, and I believe he makes more than any other state employee.

Thank you so much! My brilliant cat Mitch will be so happy. He wanders around and cries from boredom—he’s just so smart. Maybe if we could talk…

I must know how to get my cat buttons. Immediately.

So, where is OUR outrage media for the flag-humper?

There’s no reason a group of podcasters and MSNBC and whoever shouldn’t harp on this until it bleeds into their bubble.

Wait, she slept Sanford, too?!

I love how none of his supporters ever chide him for his nastiness.

Let’s never forget those f*ckers, not a single one.

First, the Monica discussion is irrelevant. Second, if Clinton raped children, he should go down, too. EVERYBODY who rapes children should go down. That should not be controversial.

Splitting attention? Seat them *next to each other* at a defense table FFS and let Trump call it a witch hunt. GTFOH.

I voted for him twice, though age does not alter that whack power dynamic.

Only a man who never faced sexual harassment or watched a powerful man groom a subordinate (à la Larry Summers) could be so blasé.

She may have agreed to the acts, but she didn’t know what she was getting into. He did.

This always bothered me as a Texan who has lived in the North and CA. Southerners are merely more open about their racism. Many of the cases we studied in law school—redlining, busing—those were in the North.

Y’all can keep telling yourselves you’re above it, but that just lets it keep festering.
November 17, 2025 at 5:34 PM
I was a Texan so I followed all the Texas pols, and Abbott et al started tweeting about the Biden crisis at the border on March 7, 2021, just 6 weeks after his inauguration!

It was the plan, they were all in, and they were relentless, tweeting all day, every day from Day 1.

Right? Howdy!
November 17, 2025 at 3:21 PM
Yes, the most powerful man in the world, employing the largest stable of lawyers and controlling the most advanced intelligence apparatus vs. a recent college grad whose future is in his hands with her [checks notes] parents advising is a fully balanced power dynamic.

We all get that and it’s shitty, but not everything is that.

Maybe don’t comment if you havent listened to what’s been said b/c that is NOT what Raskin is advocating.

Let’s not eat our own unless they deserve it.
