lol! This one is a schemer. He reminds me of the baby on the Family Guy who is always strategizing world domination. I think that’s what Mitch is up to a lot of the time.

The Texas Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies “Flash Flood Alley” with this map—Kerr County is smack in the worst of it.

Further down, the flood threat to Kerr County is considered “Highly Likely.”

Haha! Here’s one of mine—Mitch will find every cranny to explore. I have 2, but the other one is more sloth than puma.

Nothing about this makes sense.

Thank you!

Quilling is very zen for me. Just before law school I handmade all the invitations to my mom’s surprise 60th bday which I came home from law school for. Her friends put a bunch of them together and framed them for her. I don’t have a photo, but this is an example of quilling.

It’s important to have a creative outlet. I find I get depressed when I haven’t been using one of mine.

I often needlepoint, but in law school, I did paper quilling—I didn’t want anything that took much concentration. Knitting was also a good outlet, but my 2 cats made that hard!

Updated this antique chest made in northern MA before the Civil War. The part we thought would be easiest—attaching the antique cup pulls—gave us the hardest time! 2 of the screws wouldn’t go all the way in and the Phillips head stripped so they’re stuck. Afraid the wood will crack, too.

Ideas?

Under normal circumstances, I’d agree, but who on this list would be better? Maybe Rubio? Grassley?

Would any of them thwart Musk? Even if Musk stepped back, this may be the only shot the oligarchs get. They won’t just go home.

A novel remedy is called for, I think.

Thanks! I like the colors, too. They make me happy, even if they’re having breakdowns!

Sorry, realized the one was just the canvas. This is the finished product.

Beautiful work, Sarah! So delicate.

I’ve been needlepointing since I was a kid. These are some of my favorite pieces. I’ve been doing a lot of ladies in recent years who represent my different states of mind. I call them my wacky ladies.

My cat Mitch, named after Samuel L. Jackson’s character in The Long Kiss Goodnight. The name has proved apt.
