WTF. I already cancelled my local "newspaper" and The Washington Post in the last year. This is my last subscription. It's terrifying how news is contracting and it's becoming harder and harder to see through the haze of misinformation.

Got my MA in Germanic Studies there (at the time, ranked 4th in the nation). IU was a top destination for languages in general. Taught many languages available nowhere else. Now all is being decimated.

In the meantime THE COVID VIRUS MUTATES. The fewer people who are vaccinated the higher the risk that it will mutate into a more virulent form that outstrips what mitigations are left to us. This is so dangerous y’all. I cannot get anyone to pay attention to it but it is.
