I just looked it up and it seems there are about 1200 between the state patrol and Minneapolis police. Even at 600, they have got to be smarter and better trained. I suspect there would be a way to strategically monitor and arrest the thuggish Icicles. Maybe I'm wrong.

In my opinion, AG Garland failed us miserably. If Garland has does his job thoughtfully, Trump would likely have been convicted for his part in Jan 6, and under the 14th Amendment, article 3, of the Constitution would have illegible to serve in any federal office.

A consumer consumption slowdown, and a federal worker slowdown (work at slower pace, make "accidental" errors) -- we need both. And we need Europe and other disposed of allies to turn away and do as Canada is doing (deal with China for cars), looking elsewhere for trade opportunities.

This all could have unfolded better if Trump was intelligent enough to recognize he could temper the needs of his mental illness better by attempting to please the 60% of sane and sensible Americans, instead of the cruel and hateful 40%. But alas . . .

The Republicans in Congress are sitting on the back of the pitchfork the orange menace is riding around on wreaking havoc. Truly, he is the Devil incarnate.

Why aren't the Minneapolis police and the MN State Troopers arresting the thugs who are assaulting and battering, without legal cause, MN residents? What am I missing?

You appear to be a drunkard. I can understand the inclination. Take care.

Indeed. He does not care about anyone else. This has been addressed numerous times -- from the 2016 New Yorker interview with Tony Schwartz (who penned "The Art of the Deal") to the 2020 film "Unfit," to psychologist Mary Trump's many "takes" on her uncle Donald.
January 19, 2026 at 3:37 AM
Wait. Are Massie & Schiff suggesting Trump is not the "stable genius" he proclaims to be? LOL
January 19, 2026 at 3:33 AM
They are far worse, in many ways.
January 19, 2026 at 3:27 AM
Yes, as I posted previously --> Trump is a psychopathic malignant narcissist. He is unhinged from the reality of the rest of us. As Tony Schwartz, who penned "The Art of the Deal" noted in the 7/18/2016 New Yorker, DJT doesn't care about anyone else. Check out "UNFIT" www.imdb.com/title/tt1230...

Love it.
January 13, 2026 at 3:48 PM
Simply: He is forecasting what he will strive to do in 2026 and forward.
January 13, 2026 at 3:47 PM
Yep. Trump is not the most intelligent person, and he is getting crazier and wilder the more cornered he feels.
January 13, 2026 at 3:45 PM
Sorry, but I disagree. Gross exaggerations and the inability to discriminate are not helpful. Neither all Democrats, nor all Republican's are all anything. Yes, sadly, many in both parties are beholden to the monied interests. As for "Zionist" anything - that is just inflammatory and unhelpful.
January 13, 2026 at 3:44 PM
Every "con job" from Trump's mouth is projection. He's the grifter.
January 13, 2026 at 3:40 PM
Would it be possible for Governor Walz to call out the MN National Guard to round up these thug invaders and lock them up?

Thugs. Part of The Cruelty Cabal's Satan's Army.
January 13, 2026 at 2:25 PM
No an excuse. It's an explanation. IMO: Nobody should expect Trump to be empathetic or caring. IMO: AG Garland failed the country is not timely prosecuting Trump. Trump's violation of the 14th Amendment, Article 3, for his role in Jan.6th made him ineligible to be in any office.
January 13, 2026 at 2:24 PM
Maybe it would be helpful if "all good people" left in the DOJ and select other departments/agencies engaged in a work slowdown and "accidental" mistakes.
January 13, 2026 at 1:22 PM
He's a person with lighter skin (that's what white means), and he only thinks of himself (as a psychopathic malignant narcissist). That's why White Nationalists appeals to him. He actually doesn't care about anyone else and doesn't have the intelligence & education to understand racism.

The four that resigned may or may not be replaced. IF replaced they will likely be more cooperative fascists, and far more incompetent (the good news).

Aside: "On Saturday, Trump signed an executive order to block courts or creditors from seizing revenue tied to the sale of Venezuelan oil held in US Treasury accounts." Trump's unsavory business tactics surface when playing with Exxon, Chevron, & Conoco Execs.
