Question: If an unidentified armed man in black & wearing a mask yells at me, or points a gun a me, shouldn't I be expected to resist & fight back? If "Tren de Aragua" or MS-13 gang members (who Trump asserts are ubiquitous) show up in black & masks, am I suppose to imagine they are ICE agents?

Wow. I was taken aback tonight watching "Washington Week." They discussed Trump's threat to intervene in Iran if the Iranian leaders "start shooting." Yet, neither host Jeffrey Goldberg, nor any of the guests pointed out the irony that Trump is shooting U.S. citizens. Did I blink and miss it?

Does Trump have any redeeming qualities?

Capitalism as originally conceived is based on two countervailing forces: profit-motive and COMPETITIVE markets (not "free markets"). The U.S. powers-that-be (financially and politically) abandoned the concept of competitive markets long ago, leading to a concentration of wealth and power.

Trump capitulates. So apparently now he has abandoned his (deluded outdated) effort to bring manufacturing back to the U.S. and close the trade deficit. What will be his next "brilliant" idea?
