Suburbs too. As far as I can tell, this *insane* sign is related to the local moral panic about affordable housing in Skokie. Among other issues, but total moral panic

I just finished reading this collection of short stories by @charliejane.bsky.social and you should read it too. It was mostly very good, sometimes very funny, and occasionally quite frightening. A few stories were difficult to read today in particular, but being scared is maybe right. #booksky
