Sorry it's been so long again, I've been very busy. The fundraiser is over £900 now (thank you all so much!) so I can afford to go and find a place that can accomodate my needs - but I can't afford to move yet.

The EHRC (the board that enforces human rights in the UK) has set official guidence stating that trans people not only are banned from entering spaces which "don't match biological sex" but also that we can be banned on the basis of being trans from basically any public location.

Well, shit. Downing Street has made an official statement that the Prime Minister does not view trans women as women. This is an extremely bad thing and I am extremely terrified about what happens next. Please, I am desperate, I am begging you all, donate to my fundraiser so I don't have to find out

My fundraiser has gone over £500, thank you to everyone who has donated so far. You're giving me hope in this moment of despair. Once I have over £2000 saved up (from the GoFundMe and from my own savings), I'm going to go look at places near Dublin and see if I can find anything for September.

The supreme court has ruled that gender in the Equality Act 2010 has to be based on "biological sex" - essentially undermining and stripping away the core of trans rights in the UK. We are essentially no longer a protected characteristic. I don't know what happens if I can't get out. Please donate.

I haven't been on here in a while because I've been exploring all my options for leaving the UK - looking into drama schools in Ireland, into sharing costs with a friend, and more. But none of these panned out. The GoFundMe is the only way I'll be able to leave the country and be safe.

The government is about to severely slash benefits and leave disabled people destitute. I don't know what to do if they do that, which they probably will. I need to get out of the country, or I doubt I'll survive to the end of my 20s. Please donate and share the fundraiser in my bio if you can.

Trans people deserve first and foremost to live and live happily. Asking us to pointlessly suffer and die for an ineffectual cause is always wrong.
Seeing the responses to @bundleofstyxx.bsky.social migrating recently has made me think about just how vicious, transphobic, and racist a lot of people who claim to be left wing and/or progressive are. That's been said already by many, such as @autoanon.bsky.social, but I just wanted to reiterate.
