Thank you for making Persist's first month extraordinary! In just a few short weeks, we've rapidly emerged as a powerful coalition dedicated to amplifying women's voices during a critical moment in our nation's history.
We've hit the ground running by launching dynamic social channels, spotlighting Persisters content, and quickly responding to critical moments and messaging.
Our successful Capitol Hill Day established Persist as the first (!) coalition of online and community organizers to meet directly with new communications teams in the House and Senate to discuss rapid response messaging and creator partnerships. It was inspiring-and just the beginning of our work with Members and their staff.
Tomorrow, March 11, several Persist members are organizing and hosting a critical special-election fundraiser for congressional candidates in Florida. Visit our social media handles for more.
Last week, on March 4, Persist hosted the Democratic Women's Caucus for a national Instagram Live pre-buttal to the President's joint address featuring many of our amazing Persisters and a special appearance from the DWC Chairwoman.
Our digital footprint is exploding-and thanks to you, we have nearly 20,000 followers and over one million impressions in our first 30 days.
Next up: New York! On March 12, we're holding our inaugural convening to celebrate Women's History Month. We're honoring the past and building the future by elevating voices shaping the next era of women's leadership, advocacy, and action. This event will be substantive and, together, will outline the path forward for the women's coalition. We have been overwhelmed by the event responses and the rapid growth of our coalition.
