Fast gets you two essential things: you get revenue sooner, and you get the feedback you need to ensure you’re building something the market actually wants.

“Move fast” doesn't mean: get low-quality buggy garbage out the door faster. That slows you down.

When we saw it in theatres, there were two sets of delighted cries and laughter: one from the long-time Winnipeggers getting the references and one from the immigrants who got the Farsi jokes the other half missed. There’s definitely layers, but even as a newcomer to the city, I enjoyed it.

How are you watching it? My partner and I saw it in theatres during a limited run last year, but a friend brought up seeing a review today and wants to watch it. (I loved it, btw.)

Is that a British thing? I had a British coworker who always did that and it drove me nuts (but there were a few things he pronounced that were like that, such as “Mare-ee-oh” instead of Mario, which meant the Japanese students had no clue who he was talking about).
