Been a minute since I shared my sweetest baby girl. Precious thing recently had a regimen of antibiotics, but she’s all better now 💜

Starting LOTR The Two Towers: Extended Edition at 9:45pm after an emotional Good Friday service wasn’t my strongest life decision, yet here we are.

They were careless people, Tom and Daisy- they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 96: Nothing you write is ever wasted. It’s all part of your training. That’s why you should never feel bad about the work you cut, or the hours you spend on work that stays unpublished. Every part of the process makes you a stronger writer.

Yoga is one of those activities, for me, where the results are showing up right away: in each session, by the final flow sequence, I am deepening the poses like a pro. Almost like…that’s how it is supposed to work?

You set the house on fire, watched it burn, and then lost your nerve and put it out. You now have a partially burned house. Great job.

We boiled a gallon of maple sap from our tree and ended up with half a cup of syrup. It. Is. Phenomenal. Liquid gold.

I have this fantasy that if I lived on Svalbard I wouldn’t suffer from these crippling weather/allergy headaches. I would much rather keep the cold and the snow than this back-and-forth. No matter how many tulips are poking through. #ihatespring #wellthatsharshbutidontlikeitmuch

Y’all this book. The vibes. I’m obsessed.

It’s Stardew Valley but more fantasy. It’s sapphic but established relationship and not super spicy because sometimes it just doesn’t need to be.

It’s adorable.
And of course, there’s tea. ☕️

No, Roku, I am decidedly not interested in watching orange palpatine lie about everything.

My cozy fantasy book and ambient music on YouTube will suffice for a pleasant evening.
