It's Women's History Month. Because the offerings are so broad, I'm posting books, often about women & agender, by women in my field, HABSBURG Central Europe. Nope, not Germany! First, by Mo Healy, whose book from earlier this century has changed the field. Among the best books on World War I.

My university has created a short video in which I present my PhD dissertation (after four years, I can finally explain it in three sentences 😎) and the video game based on this thesis that we developed in 48h ( dawnfj.itch.io/les-chroniqu... ).

🎮 Four months ago, as part of the Game Jam of @rdvhistoire.bsky.social, we developed in 48 hours a video game based on my doctoral thesis on fin-de-siècle historical reconstructions, with a team of programmers, game designers and graphic designers.
My wonderful colleague @elisa-chazal.bsky.social has turned parts of her doctoral research into a video game 🎮

Find out more about anachronisms in the 19th-century reconstruction of 'Vieux Paris' and the team behind the game 👇
