Our new paper on Amazon river dolphins is out!

We used satellite telemetry and isotopic analysis to reveal what they eat in different areas of the Peruvian Amazon, a key step towards better understanding their ecology and supporting their conservation.

Fascinating new paper out in @nature.com on the importance of Small Scale Fisheries. Lots of great information on catch, nutrition, livelihoods, etc. The #sharkscience factoid I found was that only 0.2% of the SSF catch is sharks, rays or chimaerans.
