This is about Gen AI, of course, but to bring it home to my home turf, TTRPG systems have bias too. Yes, you CAN play D&D as an absurdist dream or whatever, but over its history, what sort of stories has it most propped up? Are they the stories you want to have more power in your culture?

I think one of the problems that we have with Generative AI is that we've largely grown up with the attitude that 'technology is neutral, it's how it's used that makes it good or bad.'

That's not true, though. Technology has bias. It benefits some more than others. Sometimes, it's bad for us.
