genAI is STOLEN WORK. Using genAI in *any* capacity is trafficking in stolen work, supporting the plunder. Period. These facts aren't even denied by the AI companies, they just find ways to make that plunder seem benevolent. Using their product enables that lie. Stop enabling the theft of our work.

i want to add that my pov and politics has been greatly influenced by intergenerational friendships, from elder organizers in labor or guerilla movements to youth with no attachments to the traditional ways of doing things

As I get further into my 40s, one of the things I'm proudest of is my worldview didn't change in the way the adults around me during my 90s childhood were certain it would change.
Not just "you will get conservative when you're older" but also "you will agree with how we disrespect kids..."
