This was a wonderful conversation. I have to admit I didn't know of Emma Vigeland before listening, but I'm a big fan now.

Yeah, that's not ideal. But it's not the only thing to be done. In the meantime we have a democracy to save. I'm just saying that the message needs to be sent now, that this is unacceptable.

@aoc.bsky.social Primary him, please! This is was the moment to make a stand. This was the only leverage we had. And Chucky waved the white flag without even the slightest fight.

I certainly hope so. And I want him gone. But that will not change the fact that nearly a half of the voters, who at that point knew the kind of person Trump was, still voted for him. That's a serious societal problem, and not so easy to know what to do about

Sorry but I have to agree with his use of the word formerly. Perhaps what makes me saddest of all is that the American public saw 9 years of what Trump was all about and still voted in numbers big enough for him to win. That's says something about the state of our country unfortunately.

So, golfing $10.5 million, Super Bowl $20 million, a trip around a racetrack $2.5 million, DHS ads praising him $200 million... it's clear where the waste is.

Stay strong AOC. We've got your back!

That is a powerful statement. As an American, one who is horrified by what's happening to my country, it hurts to read that. But it's the reality we all need to reckon with.

I just don't get it. I'm not for any of this purge of government employees, but air traffic controllers!? That's not only wildly irresponsible, but very dumb politically speaking.
