Google Voice ain't dead. They're trying to pitch regular users like me on paying for premium features. My wishlist would include actual RCS support and letting me drag-and-drop pictures/videos on desktop.

The Enoch races are basically dead heats with a single-digit number of votes separating them right now. It's wild to see two races in the same city so close. #utpol

City council was an interesting one. 5-way primary for 2 seats, so only one was eliminated. Waldo Galan (who I voted for) and Ron Riddle (who I dislike) were basically tied for 2nd, so that 10-point spread speaks to Waldo's campaigning ability. #utpol

No real surprise in the Cedar City mayoral race. Steve Nelson won a 4-way primary with a majority which only grew. He definitely came across as much better versed in the city's issues, plus Phil Schmidt had Paul Cozzens stink on him after years of being hyped. #utpol

Starting up a brine of my next round of pickles. Fun fact: cucumbers keep VERY well when wrapped in paper towels and stored in barely-open zip-top bags. These were in the fridge for a week and a half and still super crisp!

TIL that cardboard boxes work as well as paper bags for ripening green tomatoes. Which is good since I have 12 gallons of them.
