What’s inside the Atari 800XL! 💾 (approximately)
It’s amazing how much engineering went into these 8-bit machines. Would you like me to break down each chip in future videos? 🙂

In my latest video, I repaired an Atari 130XE sent to me by a subscriber. It stopped working after he tried to clean it, turns out he mistook the potentiometer hole for a screw hole and forgot to reconnect the keyboard. I replaced the pot and now everything works perfectly!☺

In my latest video I fixed the LED of an Atari 800XL that wouldn’t turn on anymore! 💡
The problem was a broken trace on the keyboard board, so I rebuilt it with a small piece of hand-cut aluminum. There was also a potentiometer to adjust and just look at all those scratches on the board! 😅

Just finished working on two classic 8-bit Atari computers 🥰 the 800XL (on loan from my mum!) and the 130XE, the last of the line. Both needed serious TLC with some busted pots and weird keyboard traces.

Here are some photos from my latest repair project: the Olivetti PC 128! Recap done, broken switches fixed and the cassette deck is back in shape!🎉💾

This Olivetti PC128 definitely needed some general cleaning! (and a recap just to be safe) I’m glad the power switch issue was only mechanical and the tape deck belt was probably just loose from age.

Quick recap on the C128! 🔧🧰

The Commodore 128 was an amazing computer with 128KB of RAM and dual CPUs… but I really love it for its C64 mode!

This Commodore 128 came in for repair and guess what I found inside? 🤯 Broken caps, scratched traces and a whole lot of dust!

Finally got my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon back in action! The summer heat caused a filament mess that bent the nozzle and broke the thermistor, but after some repairs it’s printing perfectly again!

Fixing this Fenner SPC-800 wasn’t easy! Do you still have your first MSX, or did you have to part with it?

It costs $0 to support a retro computer nerd – just show up with an HC-7e 😅🤣👾

I took a chance on four untested MSX computers from eBay to see if they still work… let’s just say things didn’t go exactly as planned: dead CPUs, broken keyboards and faulty PSUs. Not exactly an easy ride!🔧😅

Ok, but what was your favorite Dreamcast game?🌀
August 14, 2025 at 4:56 PM
A few clips from my latest video, this capacitor definitely needed replacing 😥 and the whole board could use a little TLC 🛠️💖! Full video here: youtu.be/hZbW_hb-4IM 👈

I saved my mom’s Dreamcast! She bought it in Japan years ago and gave it to me to fix… now I’m hoping she’ll let me keep it since I brought it back to life 😁

I absolutely love my 3D-printed Kirby screw container, I like the idea of Kirby 'eating' my screws! Now I’m thinking… what other characters could make fun containers? Pac-Man, maybe?👾

I finally tried the Prusa Core One! I’ve been wanting to test it for a long time. Gotta say, it did an awesome job printing the HDMI connector support. Which Prusa printer do you have?🛠️

This PS2 HDMI Mod Just Won’t Work!
Fixing the laser, 3D modeling and tiny damaged pins made it tough. Unfortunately, the screen is mostly green. Any tips to get it working? Let me know!
