Between repairs, 3D printing, gaming and PC building, I’ve reached an incredible milestone.
Thank you to everyone who supported me, dropped a like or simply stopped by to watch my repairs 💕

The screen originally showed nothing, so I opened the Game & Watch and replaced the polarizing film on both layers. I also restored the box by cleaning it, fixing the corners, touching up the color and reinforcing the worn side.

I picked up three vintage Game and Watch units at a flea market! Two were working, but the third had heavy battery corrosion and wouldn’t power on. I cleaned the board, rebuilt the damaged traces with copper wire and replaced a loose capacitor. A full restoration in the end😎🔧

Thank you all so much 💟 It’s amazing to think that so many people enjoy the repairs I do, the retro computers I bring back to life and the attic projects I share

It’s amazing how much engineering went into these 8-bit machines. Would you like me to break down each chip in future videos? 🙂

The problem was a broken trace on the keyboard board, so I rebuilt it with a small piece of hand-cut aluminum. There was also a potentiometer to adjust and just look at all those scratches on the board! 😅

This Olivetti PC128 definitely needed some general cleaning! (and a recap just to be safe) I’m glad the power switch issue was only mechanical and the tape deck belt was probably just loose from age.
