Reading about the Radical Road on the BBC news website reminded me that I ran it in February 2017 when I was trying out my new Saucony Peregrine trail shoes. It was hard going! #running #Edinburgh

I just started watching Parks and Recreation a few years ago when it was pulled from Netflix in the UK. I'm pleased to discover today that it's available to stream for free via the U streaming service. #ParksAndRecreation #StreamOnU

I saw Dan Trachtenberg's Predator: Badlands this afternoon and I wasn't ready for how good it is! The trailers show maybe about 5% of what the film is about. See it for yourself as soon as you can on the biggest screen possible. I'm calling it: best Predator film yet! #PredatorBadlands

Some snaps from my post run walk at Coalie Park on the Water of Leith. The mural was designed by a former flatmate of mine. #Leith

I've watched the first two episodes of Pluribus, so far so good. It's a fascinating premise and I'm interested to see where the story goes. #Pluribus

I had to check for myself to see if this was a real photo of Donald Trump, it is. 📷Yoan Valat/AP.

Every day a school day. Today I found out that the 1985 Richard Pryor film Brewster's Millions is based on a 1902 novel by George Barr McCutcheon. This came to my attention when I wondered why Brewster's Millions hadn't been adapted for TV yet. Brewster's Billions now maybe?

I'm recycling an earlier reply. I asked ChatGPT why large language models seem to favour em dashes. I thought the answer was quite interesting. Well it was to me, I appreciate this kind of thing might not float everyone's boat!

I wondered why AI favours em dashes, so I asked ChatGPT. Ironic, I know!

I have an irrational dislike of some punctuation marks, like the interrobang for example. It should work but I hate the damn things. Thankfully they've never really caught on so I rarely come across them.

Interesting upcoming film! Or is it a documentary? 🤔

It's exactly 38 years since I saw A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors at the cinema though. Back when cinema tickets were stubby wee things. #ANightmareOnElmStreet3

I never thought I'd type the words 'I'm the current Local Legend for Steven's stinky Seafield loop' but here we are. It's a circuit round the nearby water treatment works that Steven obviously thought was worthy of a funny name. It can be a bit whiffy sometimes. #running #Strava

It's 38 years, almost to the day, since I saw Ben Elton performing live at The Capitol Theatre in Aberdeen. I paid £4.50 for my ticket! #BenElton

Interested to learn today that the hyphen in Terry-Thomas's name represents his characteristic distinctive diastema.

I'm watching Misery. Kathy Bates and James Caan were both 42 when they made it. James Caan in particular looks like he had a tough paper round.
