Now that POS is putting the national guard on civilians? Not surprised, but absolutely livid nonetheless. What scares me is that a large population has been trained to unquestioningly follow orders from someone who has never served and would never WANT to protect the people of this country.

It is so hard to engage in logical, meaningful conversation anymore. Everyone's restored to the 5 year old tactic of calling names. They have no actual ammo to their argument so they throw stones. 🤬

I've had a very difficult month. Lots of things to think about including losing my job to ai. That doesn't bother me as much as what is still going on in the United States. I know this was going on but I didn't know the details. Here's a good video going over what happened to law firms here.
Welp. The moment I have been waiting for/dreading came today. My company had a hostile take over in 2023. I'd been waiting for the axe to find me, and it did. Least I get severance right? Being a job seeker in this economy scares me. I'm terrified.
