The best thing about my university using me as the face of a fundraising campaign is having men loose their minds in the comments. Even funnier because my last paper was on male fragility in the Roman world.

I can’t believe Loeb is going to make me go upstairs and look for something in a physical book. Don’t they know that I am one minor inconvenience away from crying?

Hands down the most deranged thing I do during Latin on zoom is turn off my camera to take and send selfies to the other people in the zoom call.

Maybe the most unhinged and yet on brand thing I’ve ever baked. Looking forward to forcing my 9:30 Latin class to celebrate my birthday.

Every time I have someone over they say the want a spiral staircase with a 20 ft. ceiling like I have and then I have to tell them that the only way I can get the cobwebs down is by taping a fully extended swiffer duster to the end of a broom while risking my life balancing on the top landing.

Currently fighting with zoom to finalize the recording of my paper with Greg Rowe for next month’s Antiquity in Media Studies conference. Our session is November 11th at 2pm EST.
