Marlowe is scary-smart, extremely intuitive, and the most people-oriented cat I’ve ever met. He trills when he has a question for me, follows me from room to room, and always sits on my lap and purrs. He is truly an excellent companion. Writing can be solitary, but it’s better with a Marlowe!

Marlowe is scary-smart, extremely intuitive, and the most people-oriented cat I’ve ever met. He trills when he has a question for me, follows me from room to room, and always sits on my lap and purrs. He is truly an excellent companion. Writing can be solitary, but it’s better with a Marlowe!

Reflecting on my life after the story of my memoir, Disconnected, I am reminded that every moment is an opportunity for love. My last romantic love story didn't go as planned, but I see all my love from nature, animals, family, friends, and community. I can say, Okay, this is good. This is enough.

After 18 months of transition in a rented unit, I will again own a Rossmoor condo! Wish me good luck on the move this month! But oh, to be a cat and avoid all packing. I’m excited to move, but it’s exhausting! Thank God Marlowe doesn’t know what is about to hit him. #cat #mainecoone #sleep #moving
