Louisville has become my home, and I am devastated to leave it.

But, after years of doing long distance, I will finally be able to live in the same city as my partner. ❤️

For now, this is what I’ll say: if 16-year-old Eleanor could have created her dream job, my new opportunity would have been it.

I will be crafting authentic, impactful stories and traveling with an extraordinary organization.

It has been a wonderful ride — from falling in love with Louisville as an intern to being welcomed back with open arms as a full-time reporter.

It is hard to convey how much this city, its people, my colleagues and the rest of the Louisville media community mean to me.
