I’m a big fan of that kind of one story-two retellings juxtaposition. We got something similar in 2008 with Senhora do Mar and Wolves of the Sea.

I’ve come to regard Zuice, and John T. Ford who immediately followed in the running order, as being the same story told from opposite viewpoints - one considerably more sympathetic than the other!
