Llamita quiteña. Chaotic, creative, neurodivergent. From Ecuador to the world.

It's freaking December and it's so hot that I'm complaining, and I usually love warmth, but this is insane... it should be raining and freaking cold!
Hate Global Warming and the changes it has brought....
Plus, I'm cranky because it seems there will be blackouts still.

This baby is Luna.
She's jealous, clingy, and intense. She will jump onto my shoulders if I'm not paying her enough attention or being a comfortable enough bed for her (aka working).
Now she seems to think it's enough to sleep by my side.

My mom is deaf, she lost about 70% of her hearing a few years ago to a brain thingy... she has always wanted to sing and she'll be starting lessons this January.
I'm so proud of her 😊

Playing with my llamas again!
I'm going to add some of them to the pre-Christmas sale, let's see how they fare then...

Students should study the humanities not because it makes them better workers but because it rips you open and breaks your brain and changes everything you thought you knew. I *promise* you this. I *promise* it has this ability, no matter how smart you think you are. I have seen it countless times.
Hearing the president of KU say that the way the humanities can protect itself - a question asked by a humanities professor of Spanish - is that her field should direct its public voice to how the Spanish language can impact AI versus the third study of an obscure play…. Just sigh.

Yesterday I got scissors for cutting hair because I want to start cutting my own hair... It's not that the experience is excruciating itself, it's the part where I hardly ever get the haircut I want.
Today I tried it after the power came back and I was successful! I got the haircut I wanted! Yay!

A couple or years ago my mom got me a present, suit pants, so I could go to the office... but she got it on a bigger size.
Today I finally can use them! Yay! I didn't like to be so skinny, so this is a celebratory moment for me.

Crocheting my anxiety away... I'm not really getting to be productive as in work stuff, but at least I'm trying to do something about this dark shroud.

But I got a new contract, I'll be giving English classes in an institute an hour away from my place (not thrilled about the commute but thrilled about having more work!)
It's been a complex year… a lot of changes for me... but I'm getting better (healthwise) and feeling more hopeful for next year!

I've been thinking I want one of those elastic fabrics to wrap my cat around me, not because I want to have her over me all the time... but she's CLINGY and JEALOUS, she hates me doing work at home and wants to be in the middle of everything… so, I'm thinking that may be the way.

Let me introduce you to Idris, this little lady is quite grumpy, she chooses when to get close but you better not move or she won't come back for some time.
She's going g to be 9 years old soon.

Gotta admit I'm not very good at social media...
But I'm going to try again here, let's see how this adventure goes! ☆☆☆
